MUSIC 10 (5 credits) Full Year
(Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced)
Music 10 involves ear training, theory, and continued instrumental instruction as well as a focus on a variety of musical forms and styles.
Recommended Prerequisite: Music 9 or Audition

MUSIC 20 (5 credits) Semestered
Music 20 provides ear training, theory, technical development, sight-reading, and a focus on the refinement of aspects such as tone, tuning, balance, and blend within an ensemble.
Recommended Prerequisite: Music 10 or Audition

MUSIC 30 (5 credits) Semestered
Music 30 offers theory, composition, continued group instruction on band music and technique, as well as a focus on solo and small ensemble repertoire. Music 31 may be used as a University of Alberta entrance course in some faculties.
Recommended Prerequisite: Music 20 or Audition

Fine Arts Fest
A celebration of the arts is held every year at Holy Trinity, with artists, dancers, and musicians getting together to share good times, good food, and just to have a lot of fun! Every year, students and teachers plan this festivity, which takes place in the gym late April. Painters, sculptors, dancers and musicians perform for the audience, who gather in a “night-club” atmosphere. Admission is free, and pizza is sold for those who choose to nibble while the performance is on. Families and friends are all welcome. Enjoy the many talents that can be experienced at Holy Trinity!
