"A FILM THAT MIGHT
RESCUE THE LIVES OF SOME GIRLS AGEs 12 AND UP" - Award
Winning Film by Darryl Roberts.

In celebration of the
Grand Opening of our new offices - Me Without
Measure Foundation is pleased to bring "America The
Beautiful" back to Edmonton for two final screenings
September 25, 2009 at 7 and 9:30 PM at the Westbury
Theatre in the Transalta Arts Barns.
This movie should be seen by every mother, daughter,
sister, friend, and by the men in their lives who
love them. Director Darryl Roberts will be in
attendance and he will do a Q & A following each
screening.
"America The Beautiful" is a socially probing
documentary which explores the question: "Does
America have an unhealthy obsession with beauty?".
Filmmaker Darryl Roberts journeys into the psyche of
celebrities like Paris Hilton and Jessica Simpson,
athletes like Reggie Theus, industry professionals
such as Jill Ishkanian from "US Weekly", Ted
Casablanca from the "E! Channel" and the American
citizenry to determine the roots of this superficial
obsession.
By juxtaposing his
personal obsessions with beauty with those of people
like Martin Short, Michael Beach, Mena Suvari,
Anthony Kiedis, Tisha Cambell and Aisha Tyler,
Roberts illustrates that, to varying degrees, we all
fall victim to this social phenomenon.
